because PS3 also plays DVD's.
Blu-ray on the other hand is Exclusive to the PS3, if Blu-ray wins Microsoft will have made a very foolish mistake supporting HD-DVD.
of an attention whore who also happens to be an xbox fanboy.
You don't even deserve a single bubble.
The Xbox 1 has absolutely no support from MS or any other 3rd party publisher anymore.
Even though there are 15 million gamers who have an xbox 1 and have not upgraded yet.
That's what I meant by my previous comment.
This would definitely be an improvement for Microsoft.
MS needs to earn back the trust of Xbox 1 gamers who were left out in the cold, this is a good start.
I saw the comment and strongly agreed with it so I added quotes to it and used it. Anyone is allowed to do that.
I think the Wii is overpriced, Nintendo is making money from it from day 1. Sony and Microsoft both launched their consoles at a loss so that the consumer could have a better deal.
I'm just keeping it real.
Don't need the Nintendo Fanboys to get mad at me, I was once a Nintendo Fan myself. Not anymore.
Same thing could be said about you.
Blind and Dumb Lemmings, Microsoft Loves You.
There are Sony trolls but there are also Microsoft trolls.
PS3 will still be supported for 10 years.
Regardless of when the PlayStation 4 is launched.
I have been around since the PS1 days, Sony has always supported their consoles for 10 years.
Stay on topic.
I didn't even mention the PS3 in my post. So what made you believe that I was a PS3 fanboy?
2 bubbles down, 3 to go!

You can see the future?
The Sixaxis does have triggers and will soon include rumble.
You caught me, I'm Sony, yep... its true {extreme use of sarcasm}.
Did you skip school today, lol, kids.
BTW, I agreed almost completely with the comment Islandlife made and added quotes to it...do you have a problem with that?
PS2 = Wii
''Many of the games are all being ported from one to the other anyway.''
The difference is that Sony is charging $130 for the PS2 and Nintendo is charging $250 for the Gamecube with the new remote yet it still can't play DVD's like the PS2.
Nintendo Wii described in Two words:
Rip-off!
GameSpot is biased because they're owned by Microsoft (even tough they try to hide that fact).
Companies try to please their shareholders and if that means being biased against the PS3 then so be it.
Just so you know, this game is also coming out on the PS3.
If you like HD-DVD your heart will be broken now:

On another note: this game is going to kick ass I can't wait!

Did anyone notice the huge boost the PSP got this week?
Its getting close to passing the DS Lite and becoming #1 in Japan!
The PS3 is $600 and can play CD's, DVD's, and Blu-ray Disks.
It can also play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games.
So I guess the PS3 has the best value right now for people looking for a Blu-ray Player and Games Console.
If Blu-ray wins the format war (probably by year's end) it will slowly become mainstream.
Blu-ray Players will then drop in price to about $200 and computer drives will have Blu-ray as well, it won't just be the PS3.
Eventually it will take over just like DVD took over VHS.
At this moment I figure there is a 90% chance Blu-ray beats HD-DVD in the format war and goes on to become mainstream.
Since Sony is willing to do this it just proves the PS3 blu-ray quality is awesome, in fact its better than almost every single other Blu-ray player on the market according to Cnet.
